Serial number on Eastman View Camera No. 2-D?

I just acquired a lovely Eastman View Camera 2-D (5x7 format), marked as made by Folmer-Graflex Corporation for Eastman Kodak Company. I have so far been unable to locate a serial number on it. (There are "bed match" numbers on the base and bed extension.)

Do these cameras have serial numbers and if so where are they located?

Are they in the "Graflex" serial number system? If not, do we have any information on the dates of their assignment?
