Frank for the past two days the weather here in central NY has been really good; maybe you need to take the camera for a ride in the country. Visit a winery and take some nice landscapes. Just a suggestion.
Yes, though I prefer female models. Can't afford either sort, though, and have neither a place to work, nor lights.
If a contact print at arm's length is too small to see, you need a bigger camera. :D
Scott: by all means. I'm surprised that so many who shoot nudes concentrate on one sex to the exclusion of the other. To me, it's about form, composition, lighting and other artistic considerations. I can't imagine how any of these would be regarded as tasteless. Maybe people need to see Mapplethorpe's self-portrait with a whip handle up his butt or Nan Goldin's pictures of men sitting on the toilet or masturbating, just to get some idea of what tasteless really is.
