    Hugo,

Wow! This is so interesting. I enjoyed seeing the fellow in the native costume holding the 5x7 Linhof(?) and seeing the 16x20 and the color landscapes. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing the links, Hugo. Always interesting to see what the Chinese LFers are up to.

I'm curious, though, how this fellow squeezes his 16x20 into that little blue box.

Ralph, I'd guess that's for the lens, and the tired looking guy on the right has the camera case on his back.

    Hugo,

Thanks for those images... especially the ones of the 16x20!

And, the one in the studio with the huge reflector... what format would that be? It looks like a 20x24?

I promise NEVER to complain about the weight of my puny 8x10 again!!!

    Cheers

Is there a Schneider XXL series lens on the 16x20 in one of those photos? It looks like maybe the one with the gold band on it could possibly be one ...

Actually I remember reading something about a Chinese LFer who for the last 50 years has walked from village to village taking photos and using the sun for making contact prints. He received some sort of award as the most prolific photographer or something. Was the article in Private http://www.privatephotoreview.com/en/??

Interesting... It's refreshing to see more from other parts of the world other than here....
That aside, I wonder how much it would cost if I dropped into the Shen Hao factory and picked up a HZX57 IIAT directly....

    Cheers
