Peter,
Good sentiments...I for one would post often if the processes was a bit easier. It's even less intuitive than my latest wrist watch!

The FAQ (see link in the top navigation bar) covers most of the common issues, including how to create new threads. You might find it helpful.
Remember, though, that the "Unified View" (the default initial forum display) is just the results of a canned search for new posts since your last visit. To get to the real index, click on the "Forum" button at the upper left.
Due to problems we have had with spammers, new members do not have access to certain features, including member profiles for the first 30 days. Unfortunately, that includes the user's own profile, as well, because of the way permissions are structured. The software will automatically update your access permissions at the appropriate time.
So basically since im a new member I have to reply to this thread just to check when my 30 days no-spam-trial period is ending. Looking forward to more access![]()
You joined on May 18, so you've had full access for a couple of weeks. But, if you don't check the "Remember Me" box when logging in, a logged-in cookie won't be set, so sub-processes won't know that you are logged in. That results in software behavior similar to having abbreviated permissions.
Oh..I see. I never use the "remember me" anywhere and mostly use my smartphone for browsing. Guess I'll have to go back to my computer next time I want to browse this forum.
And now 10 mins later I saw the remember me option on my smartphone too. Internet can be hard sometimes, or maybe because its monday today..
