We've noticed a steep increase in members returning to the Forum since the format switch last May. Accounts that were not activated back then were locked out to prevent unauthorized access and need to be unlocked by the Moderators at the user's request.
Returning members will need to send the moderators a message asking us to activate their existing account. Use the Contact Us form to do that. Include your user name form the old forum if its different from your real name so we can find your account. If you have a copy of the email we sent you last May (from around May 12, 2006), paste the contents into your message, too.
When we unlock your account you will be required to activate it via an email we send you. We will use the email address listed in your existing account--you need to have access to this email address to be able to activate your LF Forum account. For obvious reasons, we need to be able to verify that you belong to the account before we let you have access to it. We might suggest you create a new account if we can't verify ownership--we can merge the old and new accounts once we're satisfied you own the old one.
