    Canham 617 back on a Lotus 5x7?

    hello!

I am wondering if anyone has used the Canham 617 roll film back with a Lotus Rapid Field 5x7" camera.

I am trying to decide between buying a V-pan panoramic camera or a 5x7 camera. I would like to be able to take 6x17 panoramics, but also have a versatile camera to play with. I would not hesitate to get the Lotus if I can manage to get the convenience of the roll film back.

    Thanks for any tips.

    Best regards

    mohan

    Good morning mohan,
if you are interested in buying the Canham rollfilm back, which works wonderfully, why not consider the Canham camera as well? Unless you have a particular interest in the Lotus View, the Canham MQC57 metal camera is a great tool allowing you to take rollfilm backs (the 6X17 or the Sinar Zoom back) as well as a reducing back for the 4X5 format. I am very happy with mine and can only recommend it. Cheers, Duschan
