Watertight, cheap, lightweight case for Quickloads

FYI,

Having recently resigned my position on the board of Photography Cases Anonymous of America, I have gone on a bender and discovered an excellent way to carry Fuji Quickloads into the field. A company by the name Lock-Lock makes polypropylene, rubber-sealed, watertight, airtight, rigid, lightweight, inexpensive, see-through boxes. One of their boxes is the perfect size for Quickloads, sans green box. They make many other sizes as well. I found mine at a specialty food shop in Anchorage called New Sagaya.

I found mine in a specialty camera shop called A&P. It's made by rubbermaid and found in the food wrap/storage aisle. The lunch meat size is just right.

Hello:

They also make small round containers for LTM lenses and small compur/copal shutter mounted lenses. Is there any truth to the outgassing being a problem?

I buy mine from a company called Lakeland Plastics in the UK (www.lakelandlimited.co.uk). I don't use them for most of my hardware because I like it to be able to dry off inside my pack if it gets a few spots of rain on it, but for film and paper they're great. One box is just the right size for clearing Polaroid 55 on the move, and the seal is good enough to prevent leaks in a rucksack on the move.

I have a much cheaper solution. Use the greenbox.

Vacuum sealer that's used for freezing food works great along with the green box. You just have to reseal after you get home.

I also use zip lock bags. Cheap, Light, and Waterproof!
