Not sure exactly what camera he is using but it isn’t either the 70mm or 45 Aero Technika EL with the vacuum back, nor is he using the non motorized f these cameras. Nor is that the 70mm Aerotronica camera either. This model requires bungi cord support straps and rather then direct it the photogtprapher aims it.

That could have been me with my Roundshot 65/70/220 hanging down on straps in a u-shape. a) cam was not secured with straps only in a simple manfrotto-adapter. Later i used the bolex-system(yes there was/maybe still available is an external-adapter-system with the very same mechanisme with secure-lever. yes i could repair that, found out how to assemble again after greasing. Bolex still has parts.
Had to remove the cam from the ushape to change 70m/5-6-5m films. U-Shape is a large U-shaped metallic item where cam is hanging. This cam has shift only upwards so i can shift down this way, also on ground...

I don't know who made it, it was an ebay auction with very little info. One of the guys from The Film Photography Podcast used one. I think Mat was his name. You could try shooting them an email, they are very good at answering questions.

Aperion made it, it was called the Load 50. Not sure how reliable. Would be fun to play with!

Hmm. If you look in my Baby Bertha article (http://www.galerie-photo.com/baby-bertha-6x9-en.html) you'll find a link to a story on the AP's use of Big Bertha long lens SLRs built around Graflex SLRs. The story says that AP adapted K-24 aerial cameras' film magazines to Graflex SLRs. There's a hint.

Its farther afield, but some Poivilliers aerial cameras had motor-driven plate magazines that held, loaded and unloaded glass plates.
