For those of you interested in the Pictorial school of photography, there is an impressive exhibit at the St. Louis Art Museum, "Impressionist Camera". Approximately 150 19th century "photographs" from the European Pictoralists are on display through May 14.

In addition, there is an exibition of a dozen or so Alfred Stieglitz images on display through March 26:
The pictorial exhibit is beautiful and includes several from Stieglitz's collection donated to MOMA. There are a dozen or so autochromes, which are new to me. Their color evidently was made using photo-sensitized potato starch grains, a mix of colors.
I was impressed with the crowd at the exhibit, and highly recommend seeing it.
