You guys are so behind on Google stuff...
The coolest feature in Google Earth however, is the fact that it has 3D buildings of 32 major US cities. I.e. zoom in to downtown San Francisco and check the buildings option next to the little navigation buttons. You should get something like this:

Also, Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) has a 'satellite' and 'hybrid' option on the top right. I find myself using Google Maps more than Google Earth...
Is there any way to find out the date of the images?
Don't forget the 3D trip down the Grand Canyon.
