    Canon W-6200

    Dear sirs

Would like to ask if someone has any idea how to print black and white pictures from canon W-6200/W-6400 plotters. Then i mean to turn off color ink, and only use black ink.

Also if anyone has any exprience of Epson/Canon quality diffrent. Is one printer producing better quality picture than the other.

    Best regards
    Jens

I had a look at the Canon bacause I got a very faire price, but I had the luck also to test the 4800 Epson and I desided for the Epson because of the better B&W part.
If I would only work in Color it would have been the Canon!

For the Canon can't help you!

Epson and Canon are very close, some test report state Epson is slightly better, but I've used both and there's little in it. It's possible to print Black and white with just black ink, but the quality isn't very good, you really need to use all the inks to bring out the finer tones. Also you'll have to balance or calibrate your printer for black and white to remove any colour casts.
