linhof (schneider) 240mm tele xenar

Hi.
Just got this lens for use on 4x5 press camera. I was quite surprised to find that, contrary to what little I was able to find about it on the web, it covers 5x7 (haven't tried movements yet). I've actually read that it won't even cover 4x5 adequately. Am I missing something?

Hello:

I beleave there were two versions, one for 6x9, the other 4x5. Check the Schneider web site.
I'm sure the truely knowledgeable will contribute.
