Jack Bower? LOL. Right or left? Pick it up.

I've said it before, but I agree with Ted that The Large Format Journal seems to be heading in the right direction. It is unfortunately only available as a pdf and the web site definitely needs work, but it's worth checking out.
Good detective work Jorge. I must admit I never read Focus mag....but it is funny the editor would resort to this.
Large Format Journal is pretty cool indeed. I had contacted the author (John Brewer) of thier cyanotype article for the same thing but they beat me to it. From a new user point of view it was very helpful. I should be making my first cyanotypes this week.
In the spirit of disclosure, I should mention that I am the Art Director for the not-yet-published Emulsion magazine. Thought you all should be aware
Jorge, You old Gumshoe....lol...But my question is..... Does this mean that my one year subscription consist of only one issue?
Alan,
I have heard about Emulsion , when is the first issue to appear?
Eric,
My understanding was that Emulsion was now cancelled by Kodak along with their B&W papers.... ;-)
LOL, I wouldn't be surprised that is for sure!
I can just imagine getting a cease and desist order from Kodak...
Eric, I've been finishing the lay-out this last week or so and we should be handing it off the the press in Dec. I hope that means mailing them the first part of Jan.
I am now intimately familiar with the monumental pain in the ass a magazine can be. My hat's off to everyone who does it. Still, as an art director, developing the look and feel of a brand new magazine is about the coolest thing I can think of. It doesn't hurt that I really like photography.
In my smallish office I have the magazine layed out on the walls and it pretty much covers all of it from the ceiling to about 4 or 5 rows down. Wish I had a really wide angle lens to record it.
