Bobby, you got a 4800? Just use the Advanced B&W mode. I compared it to the Colorburst RIP, and the stock Epson driver in B&W mode was the clear winner.

Jeffrey, I'm curious. What was the nature of your comparison? How did you compare the two? In what way did you think the Advanced B&W mode exceeded the ColorBurst RIP? Which version of ColorBurst did you use?
If you plan on getting or have an Epson, don't get the Pro RIP that one can order with that printer. It's been downgraded. For example, it's not possible to use or generate 3rd party profiles with that RIP. You're locked into using only Epson profiles for Epson paper.
