Photo Negative Scanner app?

Has anyone tried Photo Negative Scanner: View & Convert color film by Appdictive? Looks interesting. How useful is it? It claims to convert color and b&w negatives from a mobile device's photo gallery. Combined with Snapseed, there are some interesting tools becoming available for digital PP on mobile devices with film-originated images.

I have been using an app called Helmut on Android which is decent, it captures straight from the camera.

There is a new app coming out called Filmlab that promises to be very good. I backed it on Kickstarter. Its still in development but the first Apple version is already out.
