    I've always used ASA 50 for FP4 in PMK to get better shadow gradation. My "N" is 10 min @ 20C, 1 liter solution in an 11x14 dimple-bottomed stainless tray in a larger water jacket, typically four 8X10 sheets at a time, gently interleafed every 30 sec, emulsion up. 2 min presoak plain water first.

    I also use 50 iso for FP4 , my time for -n is 11 min with Jobo and two developers so I probably get denser negs than Drew but this time and rating works very well for me.

    The big question in your quest for certainties is "do you know what actual speeds your shutter is delivering?"

    That's easy enough. Get a shutter tester.
