I believe the 1414 was sized specifically to slide into the into the condenser slot of the Durst 10x10 Condenser head. That is why the cord, pilot light and heater switch all are on the same side. Although my Aristo 1414 came mounted just to the top of my negative carrier stage with no other 'head' on the enlarger.
I sold the 1414 to make way for a CLS2000, and the new owner of the Aristo 1414 had a new V54 tube made for $500.

Tube count?? There is ONE tube. But I think you mean the number of bends. There are 13 bends on my V-54 replacement. IOW, a straight-edge laid over the lamp would cross the tube that many times.

I know there is one tube, but Aristo uses tube count...and made at least 3 different 3 tube counts...

And I think they made 2 combined stacked tubes for smaller heads.

I have a very old Beseker 5X7 cold tube head green light that fits on an MX chassis and last night I realized I gave away the only MX I had,,, so it goes.

English is my first language and I never understood it until I studied Latin in grade school.

    Now I fake it. 🧐

Re: Aristo 1212 Cold Light Head Images?

Today I opened up a second Aristo 1212 head to see what we have.

The left one I already wrote about here. 17 'tubes' with an external transformer and DIY temp compensator.

Today's right one has everything inside the box and has the very dark grey circle I learned was an Aristo suggested improvement. Also 17 'tubes', both the same tube and color when lit.

The all in one head must run hotter as it's diffusion panel is warped, yet still very usable.

    Just for the eternal record.
