    This is fantastic. Is there any post to get the darker mood, or was this achieved with the ambient exposure? In either event, it evokes a sense of simultaneous beauty and melancholy.

    Thanks, it's pretty much as seen, shot at sunset (I had to scramble to catch it before it got too dark.) The only post processing was to bump up the contrast a little and burn some of the very bottom to clean up a few branches that were hanging down into the black.
