    source for day-glo paint?

The hands and numbers on my old Gra-Lab 300 timer are not really phosphorescent any more.
I tried painting them with day-glo paint from the hobby store- not effective.
We solved this issue in years past, in darkrooms long gone, but I don't recall what the answer was.
Does anyone have a source for paint or tape that will actually glow in the dark?

Not really paint, but you can try to glue some tiny tritium sticks to the face. They are used for watches and go as small as 0.3mmx2mm. they glow continuously for 10-12 years...

Freestyle has the tape, don’t know how good it is.

I tried the $3.99 stuff from Hobby Lobby. N/G. The $7.99 stuff from Michaels will lend me a "mystical aura". So I'll try that, and if the aura doesn't work I'll try Freestyle.
    Thanx!

What I do is recharge the Gralab with a bright flashlight.

Which I keep handy when fiddling about in the dark.

I tried the paint (from HD) but found that it needs a bright background to really work so not sure how it would be on a Gralab. I'd try glow in the dark tape. Works well in the darkrooms I've plastered it in

It's "glow in the dark" paint-not dayglo. Dayglo paint is that orange they use for safety vests or the yellow/green all the road works seem to wear now days.

I got some of the Delta Glow tape from either Freestyle or B&H a number of years ago. The glow is adequate.
