Great images! What's the exposure time with that film? How much artificial light did you use?

Excellent, Sergei. Brings back great memories of going to the Grand Theater in St Louis while in HS to see the Burlesque Queens who traveled coast to coast, replete with vaudeville comedians and a pit orchestra.

Do you recall Candy Barr https://www.nytimes.com/2006/01/04/a...film-dies.html

I saw her when I was 18 in 1969 at the Oak Theater in Chicago, then a rough hood that I recently lived in for 20 years. The Oak is long gonr, now a parking lot.

Live shows and your cameras were welcome. I never took one. I think I was there 3 times. Guys had long lenses and kept creeping closer.

Candy had an unusual appearance, not a Cone Head, but vacuum formed personal bits. Perhaps why I avoid...

Last time I was in NOLA I walked out on my business partners. They were beyond rude, after hours, in clubs. Married men. 1996

Just as the other thread today where we try to describe a missed picture, I can still recall nearly all details.

One might regret missing a shot, but many things are never forgotten. I got one for that thread.

Our trips to the Grand were around 1960-1961, and I really can't remember if we saw Candy. I still need to get out my books on the history of burlesque to see if they will help my failing memory.
