Just bear in mind, the lens board of a 45 Beseler will not accept better enlarging lenses as they have a 50mm thread size!

    Custom lens boards will.

I didn't make this, but somebody did. 240 EL Nikkor fits any Beseler 4X5, I use it as intended on a V-XL. Beautiful lens.

Am all too aware of this! First priority is having a good look inside the lens stage & seeing what the possibilities are. Hopefully not involving the manufacture of an entire new lens stage... Mainly interested in seeing if a bench top 8x10 enlarger using optimal optics for up to a 16x20 is a feasible reality.

And if I'm not mistaken, that EL-Nikkor is even more of a beast of an optic than the 240 or 300mm Rodagons.

Good to know as I have a 360 Rodagon, and I have yet to figure out why...

I have a 210mm El Nikkor mounted. I had to trim the retaining ring, but it fits on a standard lens board.
