The screen on my Sekonic L758 Light Meter has 2 fairly long scratches which annoy me. Before I get out the toothpaste, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and managed to remove them

Some of the YouTube -type ‘cures’ more harm with abrasion. A friend of mine used toothpaste on a plastic watch face and ruined it with haze. Perhaps try the clear wipe-on sealant used after polishing plastic auto headlights lenses?

Funny. I put a plastic screen protector on mine. Guess that would have helped you in retrospect.
Remove any excess plastic caused by the scratch and fill the scratch with clear
nail polish allowing as little as possible beyond the scratch itself
Finger nail comes to mind, if you’re more demanding than that then take a single edge razor blade, bend it in the middle so very little of the blades surface will only contact a very small amount beyond the scratch. Drag, don’t push the blade across the scratch and the excess is gone in one pass.
I put a serious gouge in my Swatch walking past a nail sticking out of a wall. 1500 grit sandpaper followed up with a toothpaste polish and it looks brand new again. Of course a friend with a similar problem noticed and I get to do it all over again...
