I lucked out in an early build of an an 8x10 super-wide camera using a Metrogon lens. The shutter was the real trick. It was very thin a guillotine type activated by a rotatory solenoid and by my modification for a T-setting. Below is a snapshot of the shutter.
Such shutters are difficult to find. It is clear the designers had different ideas and now I have one with no electric solenoid, but with (to me) a primitive, complex, rather silly spring-works.
I'm writing to find if anyone else is experimenting with similar shutters.
Anyone?
