Practice image Cholla Cacti and Barrel Cacti

NE Scottsdale of Shea Blvd. Chamonix45H-1. 210mm lens, no filter. Fuji Provia 100. My friend who has been shooting large format for like 40 years is teaching me how to do this. I finally got the scanner focused and it makes a big difference from the first time I scanned this. I missed the focus/tilt a bit and if you peruse the image you will see it. I was attempting to get everything in focus, but missed a bit. Good thing I love to practice and become excellent/proficient at this.

Your image wasn’t in your post, but you’re right about the value of practice to allow you to improve - and it’s usually fun to just be out there and responding to the situations presented to come away with a decent image. But such photography is generally a solo sport. .....

I think I fixed it. I can see the image. Archive.org seems to delete your image right after it says it completed the upload. Happened twice now.

    I don't see an image.

Apparently the San Francisco based Archive.org has a problem with a photograph of Cacti.
