Thanks Peter. Clearly demonstrates the huge difference in brush size . Any thoughts what is holding PS from creating a larger brush, or how do you think Capture One got around this problem?
When enlarging printing I have a method of feathering large areas of an image with a super size burn, but as you can see when the file size gets over 600mb that trick is not available to me in PS.
In photoshop, the largest brush size is 5000 px. I'm not sure why. Note, though, that this is the standard brush view, the one that shows where most of the effect is. There is still effect outside of the circle. I'm not sure exactly what the Phase Circles-in-circles mean. It might be worth emailing Phase and asking. A brief Google search didn't prove all that helpful. I use Capture one for tethering, which it does really well, and raw development, but I rarely use local adjustments.
