    I wonder if the reference to Renaissance and Medieval Madonna/Virgin Mary paintings, both in facial type and pose (that particularly odd head tilt) is intentional or accidental. Regardless, I wish I'd had the idea.

    In fact I only realized the reference myself when scanning the negative. When I took the image I just liked the pose

    That is a wonderful portrait, very well done. I particularly like how she's posed and lit weirdly enough to be interesting without getting to the point of feeling uncomfortable.

    What a wonderful run of portraits: bgh, Vance, Howard, Eduardo -- I love all these. Z84: The choice of the 150 for the head and shoulders portrait works beautifully with the model's angular beauty and contributes to the medieval Madonna look. Really love that one.
