610mm Apo Nikkor Adapter

I'm thinking about ordering this Cokin Z-Pro Adapter Ring so I can use my 100mm filters on the lens: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...pter_Ring.html I am currently using an 82mm Cokin Adapter Ring with step-up rings starting at 49mm for my various lens and would like top replace the 82mm adapter with the 95mm adapter IF the latter would work with at least the lens and hopefully with an 82 to 95mm step-up ring. I'm not familiar with the designation "95C - Coarse Thread." Anyone with experience in this?

Starting with about 86mm filter sizes they go to coarse thread pitch. It's the "C" designation. In general hardware screw thread selections there are fine and coarse sub-categories. Be aware there are fine pitch 95mm filters that may not fit. Unfortunately it's confusing.

Thanks David. How can one tell if they have fine or coarse threads? The threads on my 120 and 300 F9 Nikkors look the same. The Nikon brochure on the apo-Nikkors doesn't mention thread size as far as I can determine.

The Cokin adapter arrived and it threads perfectly into the 610 apo nikkor and the f5.6 300 Nikkor-W. Now I can use all my glass and resin filters with those lens. Since I no longer have a need for the 82mm Cokin adapter ring, I will be placing a FS add for it on the forum as soon as my 82 to 95mm step-up ring arrives. B&H dinged my card for it last night so I'll have it within a week. If anyone is interested in the 82mm adapter, send me a PM and I'll send it the same day I receive the step-up ring. Lets say $20 total which includes first class postal shipping within the US and the paypal fee.
