Linhof CLA and standard plate repair

Hello!

I am new here and just recently purchased a Linhof Technika V. I am curious as to recommendations and suggestions for where to have a CLA done as well as the base plate on the standard replaced.

Laflex comes up first on google, seems reasonable but I am unable to find any other information outside of their website.

Does any one have any experience with them or other other referrals/testimonials

Excited to get this back, I have only shot with a speed graphic before, I got the 90mm f/8 for this. Hoping to document some of the abandoned steel mills in the area

The factory trained and authorized Linhof repair service located in Chicago, Illinois, area is Precision Camera Works, and Bob Watkins is your contact person there. He has worked on my Master Technika IV "Classic" 2-3 times, and also on my Mamiya 7ii backs, always to excellent effect.

Absolutely, but they are not in Niles. They are in Skokie!

I didn't know Mr. Watkins had moved, but I suspect his new address in Skokie is a bit closer to my home in Racine WI area, and probably easier to find - 'all good.
