I wasn't even on the trail at that point. It was a commercial photo walk person with about twelve people, who either thought he owned the Park or had exclusive rights to that spot. They were the ones clogging the trail per se. Once I had one of those jerks on NG contract simply dump his class on me so he could go do his own thing. He told them to follow me and shoot whatever I did. Didn't matter and I politely ignored them (they weren't the jerk charging tour money). I took a few shots with the Sinar while they blasted away with their motor-winders. Not one of them had any idea what I was actually looking at, or why I had the tripod set up exactly in that spot. Of course, I've run into serious photo clinics by very conscientious names too. But I mostly avoid known scenic attractions completely because I prefer to photograph in peace.

And I pull over for others as I slowly make my way up a trail -- good time to take in the view!

Vaughn congratulations that is great! Who's watching the darkroom! I use to work in the darkroom at HSU! For Tom Knight and Margret Masters! I must have been there before your time, 76-77.

    Best regards,

Super cool! Do you get to stay in the little stone house? I once visited with this guy Chuck Kimmerle right after he did an AIR in Zion and he had a great time. He stayed in this very nice little stone house.

    Yep -- same stone house!

Robert -- took my first photo class in early 78...retired from HSU in 2015! Don't know who is taking care of the lab now.
