Yodobashi has officially discontinued Acros in sheet film sizes. I have one order pending, and I'm hopeful they will fulfill it.
It was good while it lasted.

That's really sad. It was a great film.

I've got a few boxes left that I picked when I was there last March. Oh well... at least we can get it in smaller formats.... for now.

Sad news.

This comes, sadly, from a nasty corporate policy showing low commitment with LF photographers.
One day they can do the same with slides.
Does this mean Fuji has discontinued production of Acros, i.e., it's a "dead" film stock?
Or does it mean Yodobashi will no longer stock Across sheet film?
Acros LF discontinuation was anonunced months ago. Rolls are not to be discontinued, for the moment.
I've got just a few sheets of 8x10 left, and a box of 4x5 in the freezer reserved for some special project someday. This amounts to a discontination of polyester sheet base, really. They've stopped making polyester chrome film too. It shouldn't affect 120 roll film, where I personally find ACROS harder to replace.
