Do You Suffer With Bad Marks On Bottom Of Negative With SP445

Recently, I have been experiencing some bad marks on the bottom of the negatives after using the SP445 developing tank. I tried a sheet in the MOD54 and the marks were not there.

The marks appear to align up with the bottom of the SP445 holder where it lips underneath. I have tried to clean it down with a fine nail buff but its still happening. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Not on mine. Do you have the old holders or the new ones?

Had same problem. You need to sand down the flash in the groove with 600 grit paper. It’s in the instructions.

Just take your time and do all the lugs including the side ones. Once that is done, you'll love the SP-445.
