    3D-printed 4x5 film back patterns?

Hi, sorry if this is old ground, but I couldn't seem to turn up anything on a search. I'm just wondering if anyone has a pattern, specs, whatever the right term is, for a 3D-printed 4x5 film back, to be used with a standard 4x5 film holder...?

    Thanks very much ,
    Sharon

    Hello Sharon,

Here you have it, from a pin hole camera:

You can browse more 3d printer 4x5 projects here:
    http://www.yeggi.com/q/4x5+camera/?s=tx

Also here you have a collection of wood DIY view cameras with drawings and dimensions:

There you will find projects (some are broken links), like this one for example in section 4.3 describes a 4x5" spring back with holder seat and window dimensions:

    The FAQs are interesting https://jongrepstad.com/building-a-l...ruction-faq-2/

3D printing opens a lot of possibilities, but you have to control bending of the parts from irregular thermal contraction, as you know.

    Regards,
    Pere
