    yuexiachou29,

Here is my opinion, I may be incorrect:

A: hair on the film in scanning, or hair in the scanner
B: hair on the film in the film holder or in the camera
C: hair on the film in scanning, or hair in the scanner
D: hard to see, maybe a chemical drip during processing, or drying.

What format is the film, and how is it being processed and dried?

    Amazing!
the hair was def. not on the neg.
I am using a school's Imacon X5 scanner, prob got beatup during the abusive operation

A trustful lab process the film. since the hair isn't on the neg. I guess its in the scanner?

I thought D was some kind of digitalizing effect, during the scanning.

What resolution did you scan at? And what film size. None of this looks so unusual or terrible and shouldn't be an hour to clean it up unless you're making it cleaner than needed. Depends on how large you want to print. Also - lots of noise in the shadows. Wonder how it was scanned?
