    Polyethylene Envelopes for negatives

Light impressions has a polyethylene envelope that you use with an interleaving folder, instead of using the paper envelope. Anyone have experience with these? It should sure make finding the negatives easier than in paper, but I do not know if it would store as well.

    Polyethylene Envelopes for negatives

This old thread may give you some ideas: http://www.largeformatphotography.info/lfforum/topic/367622.html

I keep 4x5 transparancies in standard-size polyester clear envelopes which I then insert mouth first into another (4.5x5.5) clear polyester envelope - all of which are stored in archival boxes.
