Yes I got the 5x7, and...a quarter plate when I went on a trip to England. This camera thing is addictive!

The little camera fits 4x5 so I have film for that. It's actually a plate camera and the people at Beau(wonderful camera store in Kitsilano) suggested when I brought in a holder that it would be perfect for glass plate or wet plate(might be the same thing? Oh so much to learn!). I haven't tried that yet. A little chicken, I think.
Been shooting paper negatives in both to get used to how they and their lenses work, and reading about collodion and dry plate. I went to a collodion demonstration in Burnaby and was really impressed with the look. Also intrigued with the other processes mentioned here. I'm also a painter(oil on canvas mainly) and I think this influences me a lot

Been shopping there for years. It's nice to see they've improved their website...just wish they'd improve their hours of operation too, for those of us who live in the burbs. I can only get there on Thursdays.

I agree with you. By the time I get off work they are closing so I go on Thursdays as well. At least they have one late day

At one time they didn't. I guess they relented after all the bitching.
