I have a few -- TOO MANY -- dead Polaroid (AKA Panasonic, Viewsonic) LCD projectors that are dead -- and not worth repairing. However, the lenses on all of them are in perfect condition. It is a 48-72mm f2.5/3.5 zoom lens. I have not broken into them, but I assume the lens is designed for an APS/half-frame sized "sensor" due to the focal length.

Anyone have any idea what I could do with these perfectly good -- expensive at the time -- lenses? I don't mean what "I" could do with them. I mean what a photographer -- of whatever format -- could do with them. It seems like a shame to simply throw them in the landfill.
