IRS filing and extension payment relief for Harvey & Irma

The IRS has extended due dates for filing returns that were originally extended to either 9/15/17 or 10/15/17 to 1/31/18. Estimated payments due 9/15 are also extended.

The page for Harvey lists affected counties and all the details:
    https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/tax-rel...arvey-in-texas

The page for Irma, as of my post, is missing details. I would expect the details to be added later.
    https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-giv...relief-planned

This page lists the affected areas for Irma. If you should be on the list, but are not, wait a few days and re-check the link, It took the IRS about a week after Harvey to finalize the list.

Can you please update the information for 2021? From what I knew, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government extended this year's federal income tax filing deadline from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021, but I'm not sure if they extended it. In addition, the IRS further extended the deadline for Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana residents to June 15, but again, I'm not sure if they extended it. All I know is that these extensions are automatic and apply to filing and payments. Anyway, at https://pdfliner.com/form_w_9 you can get the printable W-9 blank form for free, which will help you in the process of requesting the taxpayer identification number and certification.

For 2020's taxes, basically, due to Covid, the April 15th deadline was extended to May 15th for returns, but not for estimated payments. So, too late for that.

The other "big" one, was for Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma... to June 15th, but that time has passed also:
    https://kb.drakesoftware.com/Site/Br...Extension-Info
"Taxpayers in TX, LA, and OK received an additional extension of time to file until 6/15/2021. If needed, the taxpayer can file Form 4868 to extend the time to file till 10/15/2021."

There are a myriad of "localized" extensions issued by the IRS. So far, this year, there have been 14 issued. You can find it recapped here:
    https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/tax-rel...ter-situations

The list is below, but, my technical skills aren't good enough to get these to show as "hotlinks" :-), so, if you are interested in one, you'll need to go to the page above to get the details.

My apologies to all for violating community standards.

Actually I do not now recall what it was that I wrote.
