    135 lens coverage

The modern 135 with the largest image circle is the Apo-Sironar-S, which is specified to cover 75 degrees, or an image circle of 208mm at f/22 and infinity focus. Filter size is 49mm.

For comparison, the 135 Apo-Sironar-N covers 72 degrees, or 200mm at f/22 and infinity. Filter size is 40.5mm.

    135 lens coverage

OK, serves me right for posting first, checking the data later. The largest image circle is actually provided by the 135 Fujinon CM-W, which is rated for 76 degrees coverage, or 214 mm at f/22. Filter size is 67mm.

    135 lens coverage

The Fuji 135 W/EBC's coverage is outstanding. I regretted selling mine and bought a Fuji 150mm W/EBC as a replacement some years later. Both take 52mm filters.

I'm not sure if coverage or focal length is more important to your applications,
so I'll suggest that you consider lenses in the 120 to 135 mm range which offer
much more coverage than the 135's. For instance, a 120 Nikon SW would allow
    movements of 3.8"/3.5" vs. 1.4"/1.2" for the 135 Nikon W. Here's a shopping
    list:

FL f/# Model E/G IC mm Degrees
    120 8 Nikkor SW 8/4 313 105
    120 8 Fujinon SW 6/6 291 101
    120 8 Schneider Super Angulon 6/4 286 100
    121 8 Schneider Super Angulon 6/4 286 100
    125 8 Fujinon SW 6/6 278 96
    127 6.8 Goerz Dagor 6/2 241 87
    135 6.3 Kodak Wide Field Ektar 4/4 247 85
