    Lens Flare - Arta Gallery, Toronto

    Hello everyone. I will have some large platinums in a group show at the Arta Gallery in the Distillery District in Toronto from May 17th to 29th. I will be at the reception on Wednesday, May 17th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Hoping some members can make it .

    Good luck with that - you may want to drop by our show the next evening on the Danforth.. on the 17th I have to be at CAPIC expose which I curated otherwise I would be at your openings at Fayes gallery.

    I was going to try to get by this trip. I was in Toronto in January and did not make it. Thank you for the support. The show is up until the 29th.

    Beautiful work on your website, Ray. I really enjoyed the Turner Valley Gas Plant series.

    Thank you Merg. That was fun series. I started with Turner Valley and then added Claybank and Medalta which were all early 20th century industrial sites which are now National Historic Sites. I threw a number of formats at this, starting with 8 x 10, 5 x7 and 6 x 9, with 6 x9 being the most common. I made large platinum prints , 11- x15 up to 18 x 22. A friend bestowed a freezer full of out of date Agfa graphic arts film on me which I used.
