I have an epson 9600 and 4000. I would like to use the Atkinson profiles for the 9600 but I also want the 4000 prints to match. Has anyone made profiles for the 4000 that are closer to the Atkisnson profiles for the 9600?

One of the selling points of the 4000 according to JP Caponigro was that the profiles for the 4000 were Atkinson profiles. For whatever that is worth.

My observation, based on looking at test prints done on both the 4000 and the 9600, is that the profiles for the 4000 are not as good as the Atkinson profiles for the 9600.
About the only solution is to have custom profiles made for the 4000, by someone who uses the same extended test target that Bill Atkinson developed. Be aware that many (most?) profile services do not use this extended target.
