    Recommendation: NEC MultiSync Monitor?

I need a recommendation for a good NEC multisync monitor? I'd like to keep the price around $500 or a little lower.

I ask, because sometimes there can be a model available that has excellent specs for a reasonable price. It doesn't have to be huge; just professional level image quality.

What other brands/models might be considered for an excellent monitor.

IMHO, these days, top of the line computer displays include "IPS" in their description.

With any brand or model computer display you need to calibrate it because the factory specs are not "standard". A calibration system will adjust the display for correct color, contrast and saturation.
