Image request: anyone got images from Wolly 19" lens?

I have this 19" lens on a board and I have no idea what to do with it. I would have to carry another tripod or lightstand to hold up the front standard and some boxes to put under the bellows. This has no shutter. But wondering what kind of images does this make. I don't see much out there on googly search machine.

Anyone got any images from this bad boy?

I'm guessing the 19.5 inch Velostigmat Series II, hopefully with the fuzz-o-matic adjustment? I have one, the only one I've ever seen. Great lens! A nice uncoated f/4.5 Tessar. I have a few portraits from it, but they were all stored on Photobucket...

Isn't there also a 19" apo, as well as some 19" components on some versions of the 1a?

What camera will use it on because you'll obviously need 19" of bellows draw to simply reach infinity focus and more if you want to focus closer. If you plan to use it on a small 4x5 field camera it'll either be a no go because of to short bellows length or your little field camera would be so stretched out so it wobbles like a worm on a hook leading to blurry images. Now if your working with a 8x10 or larger format or a sturdy rail type 4x5 or a 4x5 reducing back on a larger camera should all be a breeze w/ a 19"FL.Of course there are a couple 4x5 field cameras that will work well with a 19"FL so you could have one of those(usually a 5x7w/ 4x5 reducing back labeled as 4x5) you'll be in good shape.

I beleivea copy of the famous Goerz RD Artars process lenses and should deliever sharp images w/ some room for movements and maybe 35-45 degrees of coverage stopped down.

On mounting a lens without a flange you'll find there are many ways to achieve a secure lens to lens board job on this site if you do a search in the "Advanced Search" function of the forum I bet my eyeteeth you'll find many threads on the subject matter.

That is probably the earlier version of the APO-Raptar. I have a 10-1/4 inch one and it really lacks nothing except that it is an f10 lens. I used it for archival recording work for a few years and then replaced it with a Sironar with no particular gains except focusing brightness.

The Velostigmats are uncoated, which may or may not matter.
