    Portra B&W Paper

Has anyone tried the Kodak Portra paper which is b&w, but is processed in the RA-4 color chemicals?

I'm thinking it might still be available after the other papers are discontinued because commercial labs would theoretically use it in their digital printers.

So, if it would work with b&w negs, it might be worth getting used to. Any experience with this paper?

With so many viable alternatives, I keep wondering, why get used to that combo?

Sorry to disappoint, but Portra is on the list of papers being discontinued.

As one who only uses Tri-X for L/F, I should not talk. But why does Kodak deserve your support?
