Painting with light - new ways...

I have my first brand new digital camera - rather scaring...
BUT this (Olympus) has a new feature, not seen before.

It allows me to paint with light in multiple exposures without motives been transparent - if an area of the file is lit, then it does not allow extra light...

So the motives tends to blend in more - like a relief.

It is fascinating - I can get almost total control over my PWL images, and at the same time get images no analog camera can give me...

I then print the image out on best possible paper - re-photograph this image on mf or LF film, and THEN I go to the darkroom to play....

Here are four images made with that feature... I'll show my final results later...

Very interesting, could you be a bit more detailed on how you shoot the images?
    thanks

of course - these first three images only have two models in them - they chose a pose - then I painted them... then they chose another pose (without me seeing it) - I painted again - and again...

    These came up

here is a little still life I made - the face is just a cover of a book - painted it - removed it and continued to paint...

Found an image of image two above, taken with a "normal" digital camera...

You see the difference? arms and legs all over..

a rather cheap one: Olympus E-m10 MARK II

(most new Olympus om models have that feature - called Live Composite - addicting I think)

Now you have a perfect tool for measuring LF lightpaintings :-)
The lady in red-picture: what kind of background is this; real stuff, or lightpainted stuff?
    Thanks,
