There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
I will try and cut some at work this week.
He has some concern about the small amount of material left around the holes.
It's at 0,5mm now, would the piece fit in the camera if I made it 1 or 1,5mm instead?
I don't have a camera so I can't check myself.
Pic to illustrate
No, more material and it won't fit. That's why it's made that way.
I'm still trying to get these done by another member. For those that have messaged me, my camera is still on the other side of the world. I know you are all impatient to get some kind of fix. I am still hopeful we can get it done. I certainly want my camera back, fixed or not.
Ok thanks, I'll try as it is
What about the thickness? It will be cut in spring steel so maybe 0,8-1mm will be ok?
FWIW: My Pm box has been emptied\.

Can this part be made from brass or aluminum in the same dimensions?

I'd like to get a drawing with dimensions on it. This can be made, no doubt about that. But as I do not have a travelwide I can't try to get it made. And just a photo isn't going to cut it to make drawings from if we are talking dimensions of 0.5mm. I still have no idea if that hole is to threaded and if it is, then what size of thread. That will determine the bore. Just PM and I'll send my email back to send the file.

Thank you Drew Bedo for directing me to this thread. I am faced with the same issue.

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, there are dxf files here. Note that that is "Laser cut using 1mm black acrylic". I don't know if the design is workable. I don't know if it's the same dxf file referenced earlier in the thread.
