I haven't had all the parts out of the Pelican for nearly a year , and I forget things, but it is an older/original model with an orange tube and taking the 1.25" eyepieces. The formulation, focal length and eyepiece specs have changed several times over the years. Bought it used at the now closed Camera Co-Op here in Houston. Came with a bunch of accessories in a beat up hexagonal plastic case for right at $100. If this works out I may think about a better optic for the front . . ."better" meaning newer unscratched newly silvered and iin-warranty. Doesn't have to be a mirror optic.
All hinges on getting the TravelWide fixed for something under $50. Which brings this thread back to the subject of the OP.
I would think that CAD and 3D printing could be an option. I understand that commercial shops can do small parts in brass, aluminum or stainless steel now.
