    For reductions, have you tried using shorter focal length lenses? Lenses actually have an angle of coverage rather than a specific area--the angle relates to coverage by the distance from the subject/image. Since being farther away (as in the case of a reduction) a shorter lens might do the trick for you without a lens cone.

    I have a 210, I can get close to a 5x7 with factory bellows from an 8x10 neg. I found a 6 inch lens cone for a D5. I'm going to try to cobble something together in my spare time, see if I can get to a 4x5. Why? Because I'm nuts
