    help identifying shutter/lens combo

in need of help in identifying this shutter aperture lens mechanism. the aperture plate, brass plate and solid black plate all slide independently in an arc. It looks like a clutch ratchet mechanism for release and the backside of the ratchet has a spring loaded spindle that is actuated by pulling the string. It seems like a box camera shutter. any ideas are appreciated

I haven't really got it to work yet and it may be missing some parts. My girlfriend insists that it's a borg implant

It is from a string set Kodak box camera. Looks like you have the original brass string pull knob which are usually lost.
