Where to shop for difficult-to-find lenses?

Writing from Spain. I used to get my lenses mostly through lensandrepro, but it closed. Please give me the good alternatives. Looking for a wide angle covering 11x14 with movements, preferably a 240mm Computar.

    Many thanks in advance!! Eliseo

Try the "Want to Buy" forum here and keep a look out on the Auction Site. There is a 240mm Kowa Graphic selling right now. Not sure if it is exactly the same as a Computar.....

Also used to get my lenses from Lens & Repro and miss them dearly.

Only two places I have found are:
    http://www.qualitycamera.com
    http://www.glennview.com/lens.htm

Anyone know where Lens & Repro's lens bank ended up? Read it went to Calumet, but I believe Calumet Camera was closed in January 2016. Could there still be a collection of classic lenses somewhere out there?

They were pricey but had good stuff! Now we just have each other.

If your interest includes any of the Japanese brands of MF and LF cameras or lenses, you might check any of the eBay sellers from Japan that have high seller approval ratings. Two that I check in on occasionally are Sakai Camera Trade at http://stores.ebay.com/SAKAI-CAMERA-TRADE, and for MF gear http://www.ebay.com/sch/Film-Cameras...16&_dcat=15230. But there are others and maybe we'll get some more suggestions in this thread. If you're in the US, these sellers from Japan will send by Japan Post for about $20 shipping cost, and the items will be at your house in a few days and without any customs duty (on used photographic gear). My experience with all the Japanese sellers on eBay that I've purchased from is that they are very honest in how they describe and provide photos for their items, and then they provide quick service. And if you might not quite like their asking price, don't hesitate to make an offer and negotiate. ...

Jeff Kay is still selling things occasionally on eBay as reprolens.

Here in Europe we can expect to pay around 33% in Import Duty and then VAT on the cost and shipping of an item from outside the EU, so ideally Eliseo needs an EU source.
