Thanks Dan I did make the 60mm lens work on the Miniature speed graphic by making a wooden lens board to replace the bakelite one. I removed some wood from around the hole in the new lens board. Just a small amount from around the hole was all that it was necessary to remove as the lens is very small. The lens then sat just a little bit further back and it was possible to achieve infinity focus. Now that I know the minimum focusing distance of the camera is 58.7mm. Thanks Dan. I know why my very minor modification worked.
Sorry John it was late I had been driving most of the day I was tired. Lame excuses I know but if I had read the rest of the thread I would have seen that you knew what you were talking about and I was teaching my grandmother to suck eggs. My apologies Sir.
Roger, No apologies necessary I am 'new' to the LF environment and welcomed the information in your posting. I like to read about the various Graphic etc types, although being in my mid-'70s I'm looking to shrink rather than expand the amount of hardware in my collection.
All the best, John.

Sorry to but in on this thread, but Roger Hesketh where did you get your threaded bushing made to mount the dallmeyer lens into the compur shutter as I'm trying to do the same thing at the moment.
Daniel, you really should include your location in your profile.
If you're in the US, try www.skgrimes.com. If you're outside, consider using them anyway.
Hi sorry I'm in London mate and I'll check them out for sure.
Daniel I was fortunate to buy secondhand a shutter with an adapter that had been already made. In the UK you could try SRB Photographic in Luton. They sell adapters. They used to make adapters and custom mounts for lenses. They may still do. They certainly sell them still.
